I've been getting a lot of questions about program wording and layout so I think it's time for a help post!
You can layout your program however you want just as long as it stays informative. A program is basically a road map through the service so your guests can know roughly how long they'll be keeping the baby quiet or having to take her for a walk outside. The three things that must be included - your big day information, the order of service and the bridal party/family information.
You may also include - thank you information to your guests, your family, your church, etc, dedication of the service to a deceased loved one, a story about your love, and/or reception information.
At Mavora.etsy.com my programs come roughly 4.25 x 9.5 inches and can be single or double sided. With this size of a program you don't need a lot of extra fillers, just the facts for single sided programs and double sided programs can hold thank yous and details for longer services. It's a good idea to order enough programs for at least 3/4 of your guests as some will be couples and share a program. So if you are expecting 100 guests be sure to order at least 75 programs. Also be sure to order a few extras for keepsakes and put those aside right away.
