proof fascination

I really wish all my pictures and products could be perfect all the time. There are some AWESOME designers out there (from invites to decor to sewing) and it seems everything they do has a glow of genius around it. If you're reading this you probably like my stuff, but I wouldn't call my pictures perfect....except this proof I took yesterday. It's making me drool. Any maybe I am perfect - just in my own way...but sometimes I want to be someone else. Maybe you feel the same way sometimes.

If stationery was my whole life I think my store and website could be all "genius" like many I see out there (and like I can see in my mind). But alas, with the kids, the husband, my volleyball addiction, my love/work for the church, and my running long distances, I just can't quite do it all. But I think my clients can see that I know what I'm doing and I'll make their wedding package shine. Plus I have all the work I can handle - those are the things that matter in business right?! .... well I still want to be a super hot Pinterest phenom....ahh the artists dream!

friday night treasury

Well TIm has a new job leading the band at church and friday night is practice night now. Most fridays I get to play volleyball but this one is a stay at home night. The kids are bathed, the house is quite, and I made a treasury for the fun of it. It's nice to take a break and enjoy the beauty around you! Etsy treasuries really are the original Pinterest board.

I've been super busy working on new baby designs for mavoracards plus a new brochure and welcome packet for my church. I even pulled out this new design for our EWT Valentine challenge! One week not being booked and I get into all sorts of trouble!

new baby store!

This weekend on my "free time" I'm starting up www.mavoracards.etsy.com again. It is officially my new baby store! I know all these beautiful brides now that are in new territory - baby territory! I've been getting so many requests that I figured I should just get in all the way. And besides, I LOVE making new baby stationery! So I only have a few things up right now but I expect to open for reals on Valentine's day! If anyone has special requests go ahead and throw them my way! I'm designing NOW.

Alright brides, I am super booked and, because of a part time job my husband picked up for 6 months, I have to take less clients for a while. Give me as much time as you can when ordering save the dates and invites because when I'm booked they take a whole month. You've been warned!!!! Thanks so much for being fabulous clients! autumn challenge

The Etsy Wedding Team is having an Autumn Product Challenge next week and I'm already done with my project! I really needed the push to think outside the box and now I just want to make more! I though of this idea in the shower yesterday knowing I have a few brides who need a matching seating chart option and banners and all the rage for decor so .... how about I mix em!? It turned out great! 

I think I'm going to make a second design now....
