too sick

I'm starting to take new photos of my stuff. Setting up tables, making a mess in the kitchen and the babies room, and buying fun accent pieces. I'm far to sick to really be working though this weekend so the project is on hold again. The olympics is keeping me company as well as my 3 year old who is also sick and quite calm and cuddly. My banner is sporting a few new pictures from Saturday and I'm hoping to have more soon. When my wedding store opens up again after the baby comes I want it to be the best it's ever been. The pictures should be better and I'm adjusting my printing so the invites themselves are also brighter and I'm trying to add more matching pieces - like favors and menus, not to mention some all new designs.

I hope I feel better tomorrow - I have too much to do!!

I really don't know what kind of bird this is but two cutie pie birds were sitting on my fence after the big snow so I told them to say cheese. They are featured now in my newest wedding invitation! Thanks cuties! www.mavora.etsy.com

big picture cards - winter pack

I've finished up a Big Picture Cards Winter Pack for this season. It has three cards from last season and one new pine cone picture card but I've also fixed up the packaging etc. 50% of the profits still go to World Vision to help countries around the world struggling with poverty and natural disaster. The pack saves you some cash over the individual cards but I can also sell the singles if needed.

the list

I'm really excited about this new product - The List - for days or weeks - because I am a list girl! If I can't write it down I have to keep it in my brain and there is not enough room in there - especially with a toddler in the house and a bun in the oven! You can use any old scrap of paper but I think it would make all the things that need to be done a little more romantic on a nice sheet of paper - and I've added a few quotes to spice things up a little too. One is:

I'll be selling them at my first craft fair -type - experience in a few weeks. It's a ladies luncheon that supports a women's charity here in Nevada. I'm excited to be a part with my Mom and her recycled sweater mittens.
